Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

The mirror of 49.4-50.3-63.4-64.3

About not assuming but checking

49.4: Regrets disappear. He has truth in changing the mandate. Auspicious.
Who does it may be more important than what is done.

50.3: The vessel is stripped of its ears. One's moving is blocked. The best of the pheasant is not eaten. Rain in the region makes regret pass away. In the end auspicious.
If you don't know how to do it, then ask your intuition, find information.

63.4: Among the pretty clothes are outworn ones. All day long on guard.
Don't assume, make sure you know.

64.3: Not yet across, setting things right: pitfall. Fruitful to wade across the big stream.
Nowhere along the road assume everything is in order. Keep your plans open for change.

The theme of this mirror:

Mirrors 49.4 and 3.3 are complementary

(all yang lines of Mirror 49.4 are yin lines in Mirror 3.3 and vv)

Mirror 49.4 is about not assuming all is OK.
Mirror 03.3 is about going for the best.
