Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

The mirror of 39.1-40.6-63.1-64.6

About how everything has to hit its target.

 39.1: Proceeding: limping. Coming: praise.
Try something different when things don't work.

40.6: The prince shoots a falcon on the top of a high rampart. He hits it. Nothing that does not bear fruit.
Hit your target, almost right is not right enough.

 63.1: Pulling-back one's wheels. Soaking one's tail. Without fault.
A bit too careful is better than a bit too careless.

64.6: To be true when drinking liquor. Without fault. Soaking one's head and being true: losing it.
Things are only right when they fit in the moment.

Mirrors 39.1 and 37.6 are contrasts

(all yang lines of Mirror 39.1 are yin lines in Mirror 37.6 and vv)

The theme of this mirror and its contrast:
Mirror 39.1 is about how everything has to hit its target.
Mirror 37.6 is about staying free from what is not you.
