Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

Mirror group 28.3-47.3-28.4-48.4

About being solid and dependable

28.3 yang: The ridgepole is sagging. Pitfall.
  Not solid enough.

47.3 yin: Tied to stone. Relies on star-thistle and amaranth. Enters his house, sees not his wife. Pitfall.
Too solid, rigid. Feelings don't work anymore.

Lines 28.3 and 47.3 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Wind-Water and vv. Asking for different actions.

28.4 yang: The ridgepole is eminent. Auspicious. If there are snakes, distress.
Solid, but vulnerable for doubts or distrust.

48.4 yin: The well is masonry lined. No fault.
  Solid and dependable.

Lines 28.4 and 48.4 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Lake-Water and vv. Asking for different actions.

Lines 28.3 and 28.5 and also 47.3 and 48.4 are each others qianyao (upside-down). Here are similar actions but in different landscapes (complementary contexts).
What was up, outside or mental, is now down, inside or physical.

Mirror groups 28.3-47.3 and 21.4-27.4 are contrasts
(all yang lines of Mirror 28.3 are yin lines in Mirror 21.4 and vv)
Mirror 28.3 is about being solid and dependable
Mirror 27.4 is about commitment
