Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

Mirror group 27.2-41.2-27.5-42.5

About following your heart

27.2 yin: Wholly intent jaws, Rejecting the regular path to the hill. For jaws to set things right: pitfall.
Determined to go your own road. Don't turn ideas into laws.

41.2 yang: Harvest: determination. To set things right: pitfall. Not diminishing, increasing it.
Acting according to your heart. Flexibility increases both others and you.

Lines 27.2 and 41.2 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Thunder-Lake and vv. Asking for different (complementary) actions.

27.5 yin: Rejecting the regular path. A settling determination is auspicious. It does not permit wading the great stream.
Following your own laws is only possible away from the world.

42.5 yang: Being true, kind-hearted. No question: eminent auspiciousness. Being true and kind is your own virtue.
Acting according to your heart has nothing to do with rules or mores.

Lines 27.5 and 42.5 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Mountain-Wind and vv. Asking for different (complementary) actions.

Lines 27.2 and 27.5 and also 41.2 and 42.5 are each others qianyao (upside-down). Here are similar actions but in different landscapes (complementary contexts).
What was up, outside or mental, is now down, inside or physical.

Mirror groups 27.2 and 28.2 are contrasts
(all yang lines of Mirror 27.2 are yin lines in Mirror 28.2 and vv)
Mirror 27.2 is about following your heart
Mirror 28.2 is about flexibility and inflexibility.
