Hexagram Mirrors - Line Reflections
(line pathways)

Mirror group 09.2-37.2-10.5-38.5

About staying within limits

09.2 yang: Led by a cord to return, auspicious.
Able to recover/return when people or things tell you to.

37.2 yin: Nothing to pursue. In the center offering food. Determination auspicious.
Filling the spot/need which opens. 'Being there' when needed.

Lines 09.2 and 37.2 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Heaven-Fire and vv. Asking for different (complementary) actions.

10.5 yang: Decisive treading. Determination danger.
  Decisive but not too much.

38.5 yin: Regrets go away. The clan leader bites through skin. Proceed, how can it be wrong.
  Controlling but not too much.

Lines 10.5 and 38.5 are each others fanyao, like views on the same landscape but from a different side, Heaven-Fire and vv. Asking for different (complementary) actions.

Lines 09.2 and 10.5 and also 37.2 and 38.5 are each others qianyao (upside-down). Here are similar actions but in different landscapes (complementary contexts).
What was up, outside or mental, is now down, inside or physical.

Mirror groups 09.2-37.2 and 15.5-39.5 are contrasts
(all yang lines of Mirror 09.2 are yin lines in Mirror 15.5 and vv)
Mirror 09.2 is about staying within limits
Mirror 15.5 is about going far but still knowing the limits
