The combination of chakras and hexagram-lines is a simple and direct one.

0 The Power of Life

Infrared, the invisible glowing energy of matter

The energy of nature canot be located in one chakra. Not even in one person. It pervades universe, gives expression to the laws of heaven, it is the cause that all these laws can come into existence.

In quantum language: the wave of Heaven, the particle of Earth.

Mother of all creatures, power of life.

1 The Right to Be

The wisdom of the body: to be here, now

Chakra 1 and the bottom line of a hexagram. The bottom line (1) is the senior serviceman (administrator in service, lowest rank). It is reality, action, matter. Tangible things, the way one stands on the earth. Red.

1 Muladhara (root) chakra. Life-energy, trust and security, the temple which is your body. Trust in yourself, relation to material world, sexual potency, power of enforcement, stability, vitality.

Earth Earth: the bottom line is earth (two bottom lines of hexagram) and earth (bottom line of trigram) Earth of Earth, pure earth. Reality and instinct.

Identity: physical.

Coyote is living on the earth, a creature of mother earth. Instinct. Not thinking, and yet knowing. The source of natural energy. B: purely reactionary behavior.

2 Walking in the World

Duality: I and you - losing you and finding you

Chakra 2 and line 2 of a hexagram. Line 2 is the senior official (Dafu) or the official in the country. Drive and energy to move: connections with the world and other beings. Rational selfinterest. Orange.

2 Svadhisthana (sweetness) chakra. To build and defend your life. The chakra of the first encounter with the other. Listening, seeing, hearing, confrontation v.v. merging. Creation of relation, a way to be together, each in his/her own value. Stimulate creativity. Eroticism, appetite and digestion, wonder and enthusiasm, moving in an easy way. Winning the shadow.

Earth Man: human earth, human reality, 'instinct' (reactionary). Man follows the laws of earth, Man of Earth.

Identity: emotional

Both coyote and Kokopelli belong to the earth. When you don’t listen to the first and second chakra, they will get their way anyway – if you agree or not, and in ways you will not like. But if you listen, you will 'know'. Doubts and fears will dissolve.

3 Transcending duality

Daring to be Unique. Your voice and my voice, let's play together.

Chakra 3 and line 3 of a hexagram. Line 3 is the council of 3 nobles who advise the king. It is the line of the heart, of emotions, impulsiveness, ambition, evaluation, empathy. Yellow.

3 Manipura (sparkling jewel) chakra. This chakra talks of power, control, freedom, personality and responsibility. The jewel refers to a relaxed and clear mind, charisma.

Having a territory, not infringing on others, and not letting them infringe on you.

Man Heaven: line 3 is man (central 2 lines of hexagram) and heaven (top line of trigram): spirit of man.

Identity: ego-identity

4 Integration and compassion
reaching out and taking in, the joy and grief of love

Chakra 4 and line 4 of a hexagram. Line 4 is the minister, the wife, the feudal prince. The line of choices and decisions, finding the road. Social consciousness and altruism. Green.

4 Anahata (unbeaten) chakra. Balancing one's surroundings and oneself, love, healing, contentment. Unconditional acceptance.

Man-Earth. Line 4 is man (central 2 lines of hexagram) and earth (bottom line of trigram): earth of man. Earth means acceptance, and reality.

Identity: social

The third and fourth chakra: your road among your fellow human beings, and among all nature's creatures. Are you part of life, of living? If you only look, you also only look at yourself. A stranger to yourself and the world.

5 The King Speaks

The expression of my being, which is my gift to the world.

Chakra 5 and line 5 of a hexagram. Line 5 is the ruler, husband, emperor. He gives structure to his kingdom through his spirit. He leads by what he is, he passes on his ethics and ideals. He personifies the independence of common thoughts and rules. True individualism. Blue.

5 Visshudda (purification) chakra: SOUND. Quality of communication, connection with fate.

Heaven-Man. Line 5 is heaven (top 2 lines of hexagram) and man (central line of trigram): Man of Spirit

Identity: creative

6 The Ancestral Temple

Being. Atman and I are one

Chakra 6 and the top line of a hexagram. The top line (6) is the royal ancestral temple, wisdom, and egoless contemplation. Indigo.

6 Ajna (perceive, command) chakra: INNER SOUND. Spiritual power, integrating both male and female side, overseeing roles, knowledge, intuition, projection of will, imagination.

Heaven-Heaven. The top line is heaven (top 2 lines of hexagram) and heaven (top line of trigram): Spirit of Spirit.

Identity: archetypal

B: Chakra 6 moves past the footprints, moves past the perception of God. It is realizing that "the father and I are one". The observer and the observed are one. The dreamer and the surprise in the dream are one. It is where divine love lives. It is where chakra 2 is elevated to the spiritual, the erotic and the sublime.

7 Laws of Heaven

Time creates and destroys

Ultraviolet, beyond the mind. Violet.

Unity, source. Source of soul and truth. Accepting and using authority, following Dao.

7 Sahasrara (thousandfold) chakra: INNER LIGHT.

Identity: universal
