  Thousands of roads enter the great path of Tao. To find such a road means one found one’s Ding. Creating a masterpiece can be such a road, or religion, or a Koan, or even growing beans. But however small one’s Ding may be, it always contains the huge inner storage of spiritual richness. 
   It gives consecration to one’s life, making its size unimportant. And making it invulnerable for any attacks.
  It will be a true life and it will earn a place in the annals of Heaven.

DING: The character represents an ancient cooking pot, but not one for daily use in the house, but to cook food in for a sacrifice to the gods or spirits.

9 at 3: The vessel is stripped of its ears. One's moving is blocked. The juice of the pheasant is not eaten. Rain in the region makes regret pass away. In the end auspicious.
Before one can start to accomplish something big, there has to be order in one’s life. From out a mess, neglect, faults or lack of oversight, only a disaster can ensue. First of all, look around you and mend what has to be mended. Examine your intuition, your plans, your tools, the cooperation you can expect and the quality of your helpers.

 Above 9: The vessel has jade rings. Great auspiciousness. There will be harvest.
Spiritual inspiration is one of the greatest things that can happen to you. It makes every aspect of your life shining, from health to relations, work, appearance, creativity, happiness. Treat it with great reverence, keep it clean and far from anything, which pulls it down. It is healing and holy.

9 at 2: The cauldron is richly filled. My companion is afflicted. Not able to reach me. Auspicious.
Who has inner strength cannot be infected, who has a rich mind (or sees his life as rich) knows no envy, a healthy plant has no louse. Life supports life, it makes itself survive. Don't get depressed by a bad situation, your essential riches are inside.

 6 at 5: The vessel has yellow ears, metal rings. Harvest: determination.
When all the circumstances and conditions - the womb - are perfect, then and there a strong new life can grow. Revere it, hold it sacred.

Initial 6 : A cauldron with turned-up feet. Harvest: getting out obstructions. Acquire a concubine for a son. No fault.
When things don't work, then don't be afraid to turn them upside down or inside out. Don't spare tradition, holiness or knowledge which yield no result. Even gods have a duty, don't accept one who makes unhappy.

 9 at 4: The vessel breaks a foot. The stew of the Gong is overturned, his appearance soiled. Pitfall
When a Ding topples, the owner will be the one who gets soiled. No matter if it was himself or someone else who caused it. So be very careful in deciding by whom or how it will be handled.
