Hexagram 11

Mount Tài, eminence

Taì

trigram Earth
trigram Heaven

Gua Poem:
Mount Tai: small proceeds, great comes up. Auspicious. Expansion.

The great image says: Heaven and Earth unite: Eminence. The ruler fashions and completes the Dao of Heaven and Earth. He supports mutually with Heaven and Earth their order. He stands by the commoners.

Taì: the ideogram and the story (NEW). What does it mean for your question?
This hexagram is complementary to hex.12.

Top 6: The bulwark falls back into the moat. Do not use legions. Issue orders in your own community. divination: distress
One proves one's quality when fate hits hard. Do not fight the laws of time, just make order and lead all those concerned, ready for every opportunity. Status and security may seem solid and safe, but any moment fate can change, always stay alert.
(hex.11's 26 Cultivating the great Acting according to heaven's laws)   Mirror

6 at 5: Emperor Yi marries off his younger sister. Thereby is blessing. Great auspiciousness.
The spirit finds and makes harmony if he gives everything its right place and if necessary takes action to accomplish this. He connects the elements of life with each other and lays the foundations for prosperity and happiness.
 (hex.11's 5 Waiting/needing Waiting at ease)   Mirror

6 at 4: Fluttering, fluttering, not rich in one’s neighbor. Do not admonish but use sincerity.
When people don't help or do what you want, then don't force or criticize them. Persuasion is in the long run stronger than compulsion and certainly brings more positivity and better relations. Inspire them and maybe they will even embrace assisting you as their own wish.
(hex.11's 34 Great vigor When to use vigor)   Mirror

9 at 3: Without level places no slopes. Without going no returning. In hard conditions divination: no fault. Do not worry, be sincere. There is blessing in nourishment.
Never worry about anything you cannot change, and do not try to change what is not your business. Accepting good and bad both is the best way of coping with fate. Enjoy the good things.
(hex.11's 19 Overseeing Taking responsibility)   Mirror

9 at 2: Reckon with crop failure, avail of fording the Hé-river, leave not the distant behind and lose friends. One acquires honor by moving in the golden mean.
Make your mind open and alert for all the possibilities life offers you - the setbacks and the lucky ones. Each one of them can make the difference between failure and success. But hard experiences have a special value: they teach you to live.
(hex.11's 36 Brightness hiding Avoiding exposure)   Mirror

Initial 9: Uproot Mao-grass. Entangled roots, due to it’s kind. To make order is auspicious.
Both blessings and mishaps often come in pairs, clusters, or even in big packs. It is because they come not on their own accord, but because they are attracted. One soul attracts them, another does not, depending on what it has been fed. Act and live in a way that is blessing-prone. Begin by sending a bit of love to your soul.
(hex.11's 46 Ascent Confidence in ascending)   Mirror

No lines changing: you can try to do things, but they may fail or even backfire. If there's nothing that should (or can) be done, then this might be a good time to relax and refuel. The Poem and the Image are guides that show you the best way to do that.

Trigrams offer possibilities that the hexagram-texts don't show.
