You can't haggle about everything,
all one's life one is full of arranging one's destiny.
Do not doubt, inherent destiny has its time,
you will get your share,
being busy unnecessarily raises dust.

338 Troubled heart.

A small troubled heart not yet willing to rest,
For fluffy flowers it is difficult to stay gorgeous in the spring rain;
Proud of oneself one takes a leave for rest,
Frustrated one takes a leave for rest,
The immortals only plan and prepare once.

339 Two yin qi, one yang qi.

Two women and one man,
High and low are not mutually attached;
Feminine energy takes advantage of yang,
Therefore consuming it and emptying it.

340 A pair of swallows

A pair of swallows returns to the south of the state,
They come to seek the home of the families Wang and Xie;
The magnificent hall is quiet in the spring day,
They will support their livelihood.

341 Obstructed destiny.

An obstructed destiny... the time is averse,
Calamity brings disaster... exhausting physically,
A full moon in Heaven... it does not look after me,
Afflicted in my relation... sick therefore dangerous.

Gathering medicinal herbs along the Heavenly Terrace, I was lost at a turn of the road,
Peach blossoms and flowing water compose a beautiful moment;
In the spring breeze many singing birds make you think of love,
They send the message that Master Liú will not return for the time being.

Coming from the warmth into the cold,
Clad only in thin clothes,
I go to the ferry of salvation,
It is hard to solve flagrant mistakes.

Take a bit of grain
Add a lot of fluid,
It will fill the bowl and even overflow,
The children are contented.

Who says that a home town has no flavor,
Drifting about across lakes and seas to the far corners of the earth,
You are allowed to sigh;
At mid-autumn the moon is hiding,
In spring the rain is pouring,
So many flowers wither,
A traveler on a long journey will always remember home.

The clouds disperse and the moon is high in the sky,
When a cow walks ahead of a horse they will catch up later;
Stretch the spring of the bow defending the region,
In the past one arrow decided the result.

A horse goes forward slowly on its journey,
The moon sinks in Western sea and the sun rises in the East;
When luck comes there is no need for mental or physical effort,
The wind escorts you on the rivers and the lake is clear over a great distance.

Clouds spread out, mountains make boundaries, water is boundless and indistinct,
A thousand li far away you gaze to your distant hometown,
In the face of obstructions and disastrous affairs a gentleman does not hate,
He rests at the door melancholy, standing in the setting sun.

Wind and waves already stop now,
Boat and oar meet a quiet stream,
From then on honor and rank succeed,
Why would you sigh about old age.

You arrived at safe and sound fields,
After a journey of a great distance across rivers and mountains;
And places where green fragrant herbs grow,
On light horse's hooves swift as the wind.

In autumn the powers of vulture and hawk turn fierce,
Riding the wind, spreading their wings, they reach the toad's palace.
As for glory and splendor, should you ask when they will come,
Sooner or later your fame will extend throughout the nine directions.

A rat creates havoc all night not allowing you peace,
A cat mewls once and you get several nights of peace and tranquility;
How could man not know beasts,
Their features are very distinct.

Two people side by side,
Sunshine from above,
You, look after small feelings,
Immortal chance in the past not bright.

The Dao of the gentlemen disappears,
The Dao of the small people is steady,
Feminine energy stagnates,
Masculine energy does not raise up;
O what to do!
Good merchants don't boast.

Going to Cháng'ān,
In the North-east corner,
Meeting at the gate of the heavenly palace,
A convenient place to be.

Walking slowly into Heaven's terrace,
For information to get better,
There is a recluse collecting healing herbs,
His abode surrounded by spring scenery.

Turning it over in your mind during one night,
Is inferior to getting the work done at once,
In addition it seems a mistake,
Irritation and anger reach lungs and liver.

Being careful and couragious,
You can succeed in an admiral's position,
Advance courageously ahead,
Why concern your mind with success or failure,
It is the heart which grasps achievements surely,
The enemy will certainly receive difficulties.

Heaven cares for people who practise ascetism,
So they don't end up falling in the world of human society;
Then they have peace of mind and can see Dao,
In disorder one loses one's true spirit.

Catching rhino's in the abyss,
Seeking fish on the mountain,
Indulging from morning till dusk;
Achievements are negative and strengths are abandoned,
Change course,
You have the ability to complete numerous intentions.
